About

I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Anthropology at George Washington University.

My dissertation explores the evolving relationship between psychedelics and American public culture. My project is interdisciplinary, and it draws heavily on linguistic anthropology, critical phenomenology, political theory, and feminist science and technology studies. You can learn more about my work by checking out my publications page.

I am also an independent filmmaker. I love the collaborative nature of filmmaking, and I got my start volunteering to do anything that was needed on independent film sets. My first film, GUESS WHERE YOU’RE GOING, is a short documentary that I made with my friend and collaborator Hamzah Saif.
